形態特徵

• Stemless annuals.
• Leaves radical, many, linear, ribbonlike, glabrous, (3-)6-21.5 cm long, (0.1-)0.2-0.7 cm wide, apex attenuate, (4-)10-14-nerved; peduncles numerous, glabrous, (5-)10-32 cm long, 4-6-ribbed, twisted; sheath bladeless, tubular, glabrous, (1.5-)3-11.5 cm long, apex oblique; heads hemispherical, (2-)3-5 mm long, (3-)5-6 mm in diam.; involucral bracts wide ovate, membranaceous, pale brown, glabrous, apex obtuse to round, 1.5-2.5 mm long, 1.6-2 mm wide; receptacle densely to sparsely pilose; floral bracts obovate, membranaceous, pale brown, apex deltoid, base cuneate, 1.5-3 mm long, 1-2 mm wide, densely to sparsely white clavate hairy on upper margin and on back.
• Staminate flowers: calyx spathe like, open on one side, obovate, 1.5-2.2 mm long, 0.8-1.2 mm wide, apex trilobate to slightly trilobate, with white clavate hairs on upper margin; corolla tubular, lobes 3, with black glands and few white clavate hairs at apex; anthers 6, black. Pistillate flowers: calyx spathe like, open on one side, obovate, hyaline, pilose or glabrous inside, 1.5-2 mm long, 0.7-0.9 mm ide, apex trilobate, with white clavate hairy on upper margin and on back; petals 3, free, lanceolate, pilose inside, 1.5-2 mm long, (0.2-)0.3-0.5 mm wide, apex with black minute glands and few white clavate hairs, base abruptly slender; ovary 3-locular, glabrous; stigmas 3, shorter to longer than style.
• Seeds oblong-ellipsoid, 0.7-1 mm long, transversely reticulate with T-shaped appendages on surface.

• 台灣 : rice paddies and wet places in the north, below 1,300 m.
• 世界 : China, Korea, the Ryukyus and Japan.
